You're smart, talented, and one-hundred-percent responsible for your own life. You know what you want and you're willing to put in the focus and effort to get it.
But... there are real-life circumstances, symptoms, physical limitations, and negative emotions that get in the way of you achieving your deeper goals and dreams. You might not mention these problems or feelings to many people, but these obstacles to your goals do bother you and so you're willing to look for solutions.
Perhaps you look at highly-successful and very happy people and wonder just what, specifically, helped them to get where they are. Do you have what it takes to live a happy, successful, fulfilled life? Because you know, if you do have that possibility within you, then you ought to have that kind of awesome life.
Positive thinking, affirmations, even prayer aren't consistently reliable ways to deal with the problems that life gives you, not unless you have a very good inner guidance system that helps you choose the right rituals. Otherwise, relying on asking for help from forces outside yourself yields hit-or-miss results that make you question whether you're on the right path in the first place. As a result, most people actually give up on their goals.
But the dreams don't ever die.
What successful, happy, fulfilled people with awesome lives have is a system of understanding how the world works and why they have problems. There are facts that, once you are aware of them, will allow you to make informed choices so that you can create lasting solutions to the problems you face... regardless of whether the problems are small, daily annoyances or major health issues or acute crises.
Being a conscious do-it-yourself, you want a way to do this yourself, not by depending on someone else (even if it's a supreme being) to help you manage every little challenge that life throws your way.
I'm Lishui Springford, a healer, mindfulness practitioner, mom, and major do-it-yourselfer. Plus I love to dance. My technical background includes teaching ecology, environmental cleanup, German New Medicine, staffing Enlightenment Intensives, mind clearing (a type of counselling), childbirth assistance, child brain development training, permaculture design, and quite a bit more. I have a "problem" of not being able to settle on just one interest. It pleases me to learn as much as I can about everything.
In permaculture, there's a principle called "the problem is the solution," and I've applied this principle to myself. Despite my unquenchable thirst to be a generalist and jump from discipline to discipline, I've trained myself to look deeper into whatever I'm learning about, deliberately pushing past the point of boredom to see if there's a connection underneath the surface. Instead of just seeing the big picture about how complex societies rise and fall, I learned the law, civics, and how the monetary system works. Instead of just seeing the big picture about how the brain generally works as a complex system, I learned about nerve cells, nutrition, biochemistry, medications, and herbalism. Instead of just gaining an understanding of how people cope with the many types of mental illness, I learned about how the mind works, how the mind, body and emotions connect, about the communication cycle and the auditory cortex, the biology of belief, and the process of learning. I went back and looked deeper into things I already knew.
This is how I came to discover that, underneath the surface, there are underlying principles that apply to how all complex systems work. Life, ecosystems, economies, relationships, families, individual human mind-body systems... have a certain set of rules that they must follow. I'm not just talking about the spiritual laws of attraction, success and so on. I'm talking about the real, practical rules by which real, practical, physical systems operate. Systems like your body and the food supply that nourishes your community.
Just like the central spiritual faith of every religion is similar (surrender to the will of God), the underlying principles of all the complex systems of the world are fundamentally connected and the same. Knowing these underlying principles allowed me to begin solving problems in a real way. Any kind of problem can be understood by understanding these underlying principles of complex systems.
Those principles of the origin, purpose, and structure of "problems"... I call the five natural laws of healing.
Fifteen years ago my life was so complicated because of my lack of knowledge of these underlying principles that I became overwhelmed with panic disorder. If you've ever had a panic attack, you know that sick feeling of powerlessness and meaninglessness that it brings. Panic disorder forced me to take a hard look deeper into everything I learned because I needed to know whether life is just a mechanical set of actions and reactions.
The answers and the clarity immediately began to come when I was willing to accept the truth no matter whether it was what I wanted it to be or not. This is how panic disorder led to my awakening to how life works and how problems always have a purpose: another example of how a problem is a solution when we approach it properly. I don't have panic disorder anymore. I have solutions.
I created MindTreeHealth to help other strong, sensitive people understand the causes of their most pressing problems, the purpose for their problems, and the pathway through their problems. I believe that the way to have an awesome life is never to avoid problems. For two reasons:
Think of your most serious problem in life. Now imagine that problem being completely solved. Wouldn't that be an amazing feeling? Now, imagine if you never had the problem in the first place... would you still have that amazing feeling?
I would not ask for my current problems (problems, by definition, suck)... but I don't begrudge having had the problems that I've solved in the past. Each was a blessing.
And when you solve your problems, you'll see each of them as a blessing, too.
Problem Identification using German New Medicine: identifying causes of disease, emotional pain, childhood development problems, chronic patterns in life, addiction, or problems with property or surroundings, and more. You will find a lot more information about this through my German New Medicine website.
Guidance to Dismantle and Overcome Problems using Clearing: gently complete past overwhelming experiences causing current internal conflicts; discharge stuck emotions about past experiences; shift communication barriers related to childhood or other developmental difficulties; dismantle and break addiction loops; replace limiting beliefs; and more. To find out more about how this works, please read about the Clearing Communication Cycle.
Lifestyle Design by Turning Former Problems into Energizing Projects using Permaculture Design: home and garden design to support and suit your unique goals, needs and talents; career/business design; lifestyle design for good balance between relationship intimacy and personal individuation; creation of a personalized developmental program for your special needs child; online ecological lifestyle design and German New Medicine courses; and more. Currently I am developing a number of products and a lifestyle design website that will give you many options to guide and help you once you have understood the cause of your problems, found resolution, and turned your problems into projects. For now, though, please have a look at the services I offer to get started.
